Why we need funds
We fund a part-time Project Director to manage our various projects and keep in touch with our members.
We
fund two part-time Volunteer Co-ordinators who recruit and train our volunteers.
We run a social club for adults with learning disabilities on a Friday evening
and employ a leader to run this.
We also fund specific projects and outings
for local learning disability clubs. We work with the
local councils and other organisations to help to provide better services for people with a learning disability.
We
are currently raising money for our new Centre in Kingswood.
We are members of the Fundraising Standards Board and as such are signed
up to national standards of fundraising.
