The Hive

'The Hive' will be for adults with learning disabilities in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. It will be a drop-in service so you don't need to book or come every day. The centre will be for leisure, socialising and workshops. Members can choose what they want to do.

The building will be fully accessible and will have a Changing Places toilet with a hoist. Our staff and volunteers will be there to facilitate activities and to socialise with the members, but will not provide personal care. Anyone attending who requires personal care will need to bring their own support worker with them.

Planned opening hours:
                                       Monday:        9.30am - 4.30pm
                                       Wednesday    9.30am - 4.30pm
                                       Friday            9.30am - 4.30pm
                                       Saturday      10.00am - 4.00pm

We are also planning specific clubs, activities and workshops in the evenings and on the other days.

There will be an Annual membership fee of £20 and a charge of £3 per session (or part of session) attended. A session will be 9.30-1.00 and 1.00-4.30 on weekdays, and 10.00-1.00 and 1.00-4.00 on Saturdays. People may, ofcourse, stay for more than one session in a day.
There will small additional charges for using certain equipment such as computers or the Nintendo Wii.
